Why We Write Initiative
The Why We Write initiative is a way to introduce fundamental poetry concepts to elementary-aged students. I have spoken at various schools across Long Island about the writing process, social justice at a young age, and youth empowerment through writing. Youth Speaks for Social Justice
This spoken word poetry contest acts as a fundraiser for social justice issues, with the winner having the opportunity to donate the proceeds from the event to a charity of their choice. Look out for the next one, coming soon!
